The ATL West Economy Lot is an official airport parking option located further from the terminal than the Park-Ride lots. The trade-off for the lower price ($10/day vs. $13) is a longer shuttle ride (20–30 minutes vs. 8–18 minutes).

Shuttles run every 15–25 minutes during peak hours and every 25–40 minutes overnight. Total transit time including shuttle is typically 30–45 minutes door-to-door.

Spaces are uncovered surface parking with good lighting and 24/7 security patrols. The lot is significantly larger than the closer Park-Ride lots and rarely fills to capacity, even during major holidays.

Best for budget-conscious travelers with extended trips (5+ days) where the daily savings really compounds. A 7-day trip runs $70 vs. $91 at a Park-Ride lot — a $21 savings. For shorter trips, the Park-Ride lots' shorter shuttle ride is usually worth the slightly higher daily rate.
