The Cell Phone Waiting Lot is a free parking facility intended for drivers waiting to pick up arriving passengers. Use this lot to avoid the high cost and chaos of circling the terminal curbside while your passenger collects bags.
Located south of the airport, signed from I-85 southbound. The lot is gate-controlled with a 1-hour maximum stay; vehicles exceeding the limit are subject to towing.
Wait in the lot until your arriving passenger texts or calls to confirm they're at baggage claim with their luggage. The drive from the cell phone lot to the Domestic Terminal arrivals curb is typically 4–6 minutes; from the International Terminal arrivals curb, 8–12 minutes.
