Frontier Airlines operates a ULCC schedule from Concourse D at Hartsfield-Jackson. Daily destinations cluster around Denver (Frontier's hub), Las Vegas, Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix, and various seasonal leisure destinations including Cancun, Punta Cana, and several other Caribbean/Latin America points.

Check-in is at the Domestic Terminal South lobby. Frontier operates an unbundled fare structure similar to Spirit's: the base fare includes only a personal item; carry-on bags, checked bags, seat assignments, and even printed boarding passes are charged separately. Pre-paying online is dramatically cheaper than at the counter or gate.

Frontier does not operate a lounge at ATL. The on-board experience is bare-bones with no free beverages or snacks, slim non-reclining seats, and small overhead bins. Stretch seating (extra legroom) is available for an additional fee.

Bag fees structure (typical): personal item free; carry-on $25–60 (paid online) or up to $99 at the gate; first checked bag $25–60 (paid online); seat assignment $9–50.

Frontier's Discount Den membership ($60/year) provides discounted fares and waived bag fees on certain routes. As with Spirit, the airline is best for short leisure trips where the base fare savings outweigh the unbundled pricing complexity.
