Does ATL have the rocking chairs you see in some airports?
Limited — rocking chairs are not a standard amenity at ATL. Most concourses use standard fixed seating.
Hartsfield-Jackson does not currently feature the rocking chairs that are common at some other major U.S. airports (Charlotte-Douglas, Detroit Metropolitan). Most ATL concourse seating consists of standard fixed metal-and-fabric chairs in gate areas.
The Concourse A central atrium and the Concourse E central atrium include some lounge-style seating with cushions and slight rocking action, though not the traditional wooden rocking chair design.
Children's play areas (Concourse C 'Just Plane Fun', Concourse A and D smaller zones) include small-scale movement-friendly furniture suitable for younger travelers.
For travelers seeking truly comfortable seating during long layovers, the Delta Sky Clubs, The Club ATL on Concourse F, and Minute Suites on Concourse B offer significantly more comfortable furniture than the standard public concourse seating.
