Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International is Delta Air Lines' primary global hub and the airline's largest single operation. Delta operates more than 1,000 daily departures from ATL, accounting for roughly 75% of all gate-side activity at the airport.

Domestic Delta operations are spread across Concourses T, A, B, and C, with the heaviest concentrations on A (mainline narrow-body) and B (long-haul domestic and Latin America widebody). International Delta operations cluster on Concourse E, with widebody departures to Europe, Africa, and parts of Asia.

Check-in for domestic Delta flights is at the Domestic Terminal North lobby. Sky Priority and elite check-in counters are clearly marked and typically have minimal waits. International check-in for Delta-operated flights is at the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal, which has its own dedicated parking, ground transportation, and security checkpoint.

Delta's hub-and-spoke operation generates concentrated departure banks at roughly 6:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. Connection times can be tight during these banks; allow at least 45 minutes for a domestic-to-domestic connection and 90 minutes for international-to-domestic connections that include U.S. CBP processing.

Frequent Delta flyers benefit from the world's largest Sky Club presence at ATL — six club locations across five concourses, including the flagship Concourse A central club with its outdoor Sky Deck.
