Walk-only from Domestic Terminal

Concourse T is the only concourse at Hartsfield-Jackson directly attached to the Domestic Terminal. After clearing security at the North or South checkpoint, travelers walk straight onto T without ever boarding the Plane Train. Gates are numbered T1 through T17, with the longer-haul Delta gates clustered near the middle of the concourse and regional jets pushed to the eastern spurs.

Because T sits closest to baggage claim and the Domestic Terminal, it's the easiest concourse to navigate for first-time visitors, parents with strollers, and anyone hauling oversized carry-ons. The downside: T is also the busiest pinch-point in the morning rush, particularly at gates T6 through T10 where Delta operates a steady stream of mainline narrow-body departures.

T's dining scene leans toward grab-and-go (Atlanta Bread, Sweet Auburn BBQ, Chick-fil-A) but a handful of sit-down options like One Flew South (recently renovated and arguably the best restaurant in the entire airport) anchor the eastern end. Look for the Delta Sky Club just past gate T7 and a smaller secondary lounge near T1.

If you have a connection from T to any of the lettered concourses (A, B, C, D, E, F), allow at least 15 minutes including a Plane Train ride. The Plane Train station is a short walk past gate T8.
