One Flew South opened in 2008 and has consistently been ranked among the top airport restaurants in North America. Its menu blends Southern foundations — buttermilk-fried oysters, slow-braised pork shoulder, country ham — with a serious sushi program that draws from the same fish purveyor that supplies Atlanta's best omakase rooms.

The dining room sits at the eastern end of Concourse T near gate T7, with a 60-seat bar that fills up by 5 p.m. on weekday evenings. Seating is first-come, first-served at the bar and small high-top tables; reservations are taken for the main dining room via OpenTable.

Service is unusually polished for an airport restaurant — the staff is trained to know every flight on the gates within a 5-minute walk and will pace your meal accordingly if you tell them your departure time. Most entrées are out within 18 minutes, and the kitchen will fire small plates in any order to fit your timeline.

Standout orders include the country ham flight (three regional Southern hams with biscuits and pepper jelly), the spicy tuna roll, and the seasonal cocktail program. Expect to spend $40–60 per person before drinks. Worth every dollar for a real meal between flights.
