Sweet Auburn BBQ started as a humble counter inside the historic Sweet Auburn Curb Market in downtown Atlanta and has grown into one of the city's most respected barbecue programs. The Concourse T location offers a streamlined menu but the smokers are real — brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and chicken are all smoked in-house overnight.
Plates and sandwiches start around $13. The brisket plate with two sides (the collards and mac & cheese are both excellent) is the standout order. Sauce options include a sweet Eastern Carolina-style and a mustard-based Georgia gold; both are worth tasting before you commit.
The counter-service setup means most orders are out in 4–7 minutes. Seating is shared with the broader Concourse T food court. Look for it across from the security checkpoint, near the central spine.
Vegetarian options are limited — a plate of sides plus cornbread is the move if you don't eat meat. Beer is available, with a focus on Atlanta breweries.
