Does ATL have currency exchange?

Yes — Travelex operates currency exchange counters at the International Terminal and select Concourse E locations.

Travelex operates currency exchange counters at Hartsfield-Jackson's International Terminal (both pre-security and post-security) and at select locations on Concourse E. Major world currencies are available — USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, KRW, CNY, MXN, CAD, and others.

Exchange rates at airport Travelex counters are typically 5–10% worse than bank rates and 7–15% worse than online currency exchanges. Exchange the minimum amount needed for immediate use at your destination (taxi, tips, initial purchases) and exchange the rest at a destination bank or ATM for better rates.

ATM machines that accept international debit cards are available throughout the airport, operated by Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Allpoint network banks. International withdrawal fees from your home bank typically run $3–6 per transaction plus a percentage-based foreign exchange fee (1–3% depending on the card).

Many credit cards have no foreign transaction fees and offer competitive exchange rates. Using such a card for purchases at your destination is often the most cost-effective way to convert currency.
