How do I get from ATL to Savannah, Georgia?

Drive (4 hours), fly via Delta (1 hour to SAV), Greyhound bus (5-6 hours via downtown Atlanta), or Amtrak (longer route).

Several options exist for traveling from Hartsfield-Jackson to Savannah, Georgia (approximately 250 miles southeast).

Driving: rent a car at the ATL Rental Car Center and drive I-75/I-16 to Savannah (about 4 hours, $100-150 in gas + tolls + rental fees).

Flying: Delta operates multiple daily flights from ATL to Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), with flight time of approximately 50 minutes. Total transit time including security, boarding, and arrival is typically 2.5-3 hours. Fares run $100-300 depending on advance booking.

Greyhound: take MARTA to Garnett station downtown, walk to Greyhound Atlanta Station, take Greyhound to Savannah. Total transit time is 5-6 hours. Fares run $40-80.
