Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges opened Chicken & Beer at Hartsfield-Jackson in 2018, drawing the name from his second studio album. The restaurant has held its own as a serious dining option, not just a celebrity gimmick — the fried chicken, biscuits, and chicken-and-waffle are all reliably good.
The menu centers on fried chicken: tenders, sandwiches, plates, and the signature chicken and waffles. Sides include collards, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and a slaw with a Carolina-style vinegar dressing. Most plates run $16–22.
The beer list is short but well-chosen, with a focus on Georgia and Southern craft breweries — SweetWater, Creature Comforts, Wicked Weed. A flight of four 5-oz pours runs $14.
Seating is split between a 60-seat dining room and a 20-seat bar that handles solo travelers. Service is friendly and flight-aware. Located near the central Concourse D atrium, convenient to most LCC and Delta regional departures.
