Popeyes' Concourse D location serves the standard menu — spicy and mild fried chicken, the famous chicken sandwich, biscuits, red beans and rice, and Cajun fries. Counter service is brisk and most orders are out in 6–8 minutes even at peak times.

The chicken sandwich (still arguably the best fast-food sandwich in America) runs about $7 plus a side. The 3-piece tender meal with a biscuit and a side is a $13 satisfying meal that travels well to a gate.

Limited seating means most passengers eat at their gate or while walking. The Concourse D location is near gate D8, an easy walk from JetBlue, Spirit, and Frontier departures.

Hours run early to late, accommodating both first-flight commuters and late-evening returnees. The biscuits, by the way, are made in-house and are arguably better than the chicken.
