FAQ · Getting Around

How do I find my gate at ATL?

Check your boarding pass for concourse and gate (e.g., A14, T7); take Plane Train or walk to that concourse.

Your boarding pass shows your departure concourse and gate (e.g., A14 = Concourse A, gate 14). The first letter is the concourse; the number is the gate number within that concourse.

From the Domestic Terminal, head to security. After clearing security, follow signs to either the Plane Train or the central spine walkway. Both lead to all concourses (T, A, B, C, D, E, F). Take the Plane Train (faster, 2-12 minutes depending on destination) or walk (slower, 5-25 minutes depending on destination).

Concourse T is connected directly to the Domestic Terminal — no Plane Train ride is required. T gates are numbered T1 through T17. The other lettered concourses range from A1-A30, B1-B36, C1-C42, D1-D44, E1-E36, and F1-F12.

Once you arrive at your concourse via the Plane Train, exit the station and follow gate-numbered signage to your specific gate. Most concourses have moving sidewalks; gate areas are marked with seating, water fountains, restrooms, and FIDS displays.
