How do I get priority security at ATL?

Several priority security options are available at Hartsfield-Jackson. TSA PreCheck ($78/5 years through TSA, or included with Global Entry) provides dedicated lanes with reduced screening — keep shoes/belts/light jackets on, laptops/liquids in your bag.

CLEAR membership ($189/year, with various credit card discounts) provides biometric verification and escort to the front of the standard or PreCheck line. CLEAR + PreCheck together provides the fastest security experience at ATL.

Airline elite status: Delta Diamond Medallion, Platinum Medallion, and Gold Medallion members can use Sky Priority lanes at security (similar speed to standard PreCheck). American Executive Platinum, United Premier 1K and Global Services, and similar top-tier elites have similar access on their respective airlines.

Premium-class tickets: Delta One, First Class, and Business Class passengers receive Sky Priority access at security. International First and Business Class passengers receive priority lanes at the International Terminal.

Military and uniformed-services personnel receive priority security access at all checkpoints. Show valid military ID at the priority lane. Family members traveling together with a uniformed servicemember are typically permitted in the priority lane as well.
